Pressure & Temperature Reduction System

 

 

Functions: 

Desuperheating water to be spayed into the high-temperature and high-pressure primary steam to reduce the temperature and pressure so that the end-user required secondary steams can be produced to meet industrial production needs.

 

Classifications:

  1. By Structures
  1. Integral type

           Both temp. and pressure reduction process are completed inside the valve body

 

  1.  Split type 

           Temperature reduction and pressure reduction are separately processed

           ♦ Pressure reduction realized by pressure reducing valves and throttling orifice plates

           ♦ Temperature reduction occurred inside the pipeline

Parts & Components:

  1. Pressure Reducing System

            Composed of a pressure reducing valve, orifice plate and transition tube to achieve pressure and noise control.

 

 

  1.  Water Spray System

             Regulating valve to control the flow of desuperheated water.

             CE nozzles to ensure desuperheating water atomizating.

             Filter valve to ensure the desuperheating water free of impurity particles.

 

  1. Safety Protection System

             Safety valve to prevents overpressure operation

             Check Valve to prevents backflow of steam feeding pipe

             Protective casing to protect steam piping

 

 

  1. Automatic Control System

            Control cabinets (DCS): logic calculations

            Pressure transmitter: pressure signal

            Thermocouple: temperature signal

            Pressure reducing valve actuator: control pressure

            Regulating valve actuator: temperature control

 

Structure Feathers:

  1. Equipped with steam protection sleeve

 

        It effectively prevents the desuperheating water from splashing onto the piping wall which may generate alternating thermal stresses. As a result, steam piping does not crack and prevent the occurrence of safety accidents.

 

  1. Spring loaded atomizing nozzle assembly

      The nozzle assembly consists of nozzle, spray rod, spring, nut and body. The spray rod under the combined action of of spring and the media forces automatically adjust the opening as per the flow to maintain the differential pressure at Min. 0.3MPa to achieve the best atomization of the desuperheating water under fluctuating operating conditions.

 

  1. Adjustable nozzles

             Number of nozzles controllable through the regulating valve to achieve variable and more precised control of flow rate.

 

  1. Removable nozzle

    Nozzles can be freely removed and replaced with easier repaire and maintenance.

 

 

  1. Noise control <85db

        a) Precise calculation for pressure reduction ratio to minimize the noise generation.

        b) Cage type design to employed for high differential pressure valves to reduce noise generation.

        c) Throttle plate introduce to reduce noise generation.
